200 deviations!!!

Mon May 1, 2006, 7:48 PM
Well I've just submitted my 200th deviation. Damn, I never thought I'd ever get this far with art! So I just looked back on all of my stuff and its so cool to see the timeline of improvement I guess. Ya know? Like when I started getting into this, I didnt think about the possibilty of photography and art to be a potential career. And Now, I am about to start with this Greeting card company in England, selling photos to them. I must be dreaming!!! So Yeah I think its cool to look back on your old stuff from now and then... Feel free to do the same for you or me or whatever! lol :peace:

Thank you! Well I met them one morning in Mexico. Like I was photographing the sunrise on the beach and just as I was heading in, this guy and his wife caught up to me and said I looked handy with the camera. So he asked if I could take some photos of them. Shots of them like walking down the beach ya know with the foot prints leading up to them, and other shots. So I used his camera which was this really really nice digital SLR. After I was done, they looked at the photos and they were quite impressed. Then we started taking and I mentioned that I have a gallery on-line. So I drew it in the sand (didnt have paper) and he took a photo of this site. So about a week and a half later he e-mailed me saying again how impressed he was and he is willing to work with me and will pay! I couldnt believe it! So ya thats how I met them and we're gonna start up pretty soon! Again, thanks!
